Welcome to Lion Care!

Lion Care is the Northwest R-1 School District’s before and after-school age care program. We are available to all children Pre-K through fifth grade at the Early Childhood Center as well as all elementary schools within the district. Families can feel comfortable knowing that Lion Care is a safe and reputable program whose focus is to help students develop personal responsibility, form friendships through social interactions, learn to relate to others with empathy and respect, and develop a sense of confidence and resilience by participating in a variety of activities.

The mission of Lion Care is to create a safe, loving environment in which students become self-aware, caring, and respectful leaders ready for success in a complex and ever-changing world.

WHAT'S NEW IN LION CARE?

To enroll in the 2026/2027 year, please see the steps below:

You are now able to enroll your student(s) for the 2026/2027 school year and summer school. Please make note of some important items:

Early Childhood Center, House Springs Elementary, and High Ridge Elementary will not have summer school. However, HSE students enrolled in summer school will be going to Cedar Springs Elementary where Lion Care is also available, and HRE students will go to Brennan Woods Elementary.
If your family requires an alternative schedule, such as care every other week, please include that information in your child’s contract or reach out directly to our Program Manager to discuss options. We’re here to support you through this transition and are committed to working together to make our program the best it can be.

Existing families: Please follow the steps below to enroll your student in the new year or summer school program. Families must enroll separately for each "season".

• Sign in to your existing profile

• Click the “Explore All Programs” drop-down on the right side of the screen

• Choose the second option provided, which lists your Account Number

• On the left, under Account Management, choose the “+ Register a New Contract” button

• Choose your existing child on the left, or add new students if needed

• Verify the information and continue through the prompts, reading carefully.

New families: Please follow the steps below to create your Eleyo account profile:

• Create your profile by selecting “Sign In” (top, right corner)

• Login with Facebook or Google, or select “Create One Now”

• When creating an account, you will be required to enter your basic contact information including an email address and password which will be used for logging in

• On the left, under the Manage Family Members section, use the Add Emergency Contacts button to add new emergency contacts. Use the Edit Emergency Contacts button to update that information as needed. In order to prevent creating duplicate users in the system, when adding an emergency contact that is already part of your profile, please search for the name and then select from the list of existing users that are presented.

• Once an account is created, you will create a contract for each student by following the instructions for existing family members.
