Early Childhood Center Tuition

Welcome to Eleyo - the Northwest Early Childhood Center's invoicing system!  Below is general information regarding the tuition program and tuition payments.

Tuition Rate

The current tuition rate is $30 a day/$150 for a full 5 day week.  The rate is subject to change.  If the rate changes, the change will not occur during the school year and this information will be shared with returning families and on the ECC district site page.  Families are pro rated for district scheduled days off/closing for district scheduled half days.  In the event of an AMI, snow day, or sudden full day closure, families will be pro rated for those days as well.

Should a student be absent due to illness, planned vacations, or any other absence separate from a scheduled district day off, payments will not be prorated.  This includes if the school directs the child to stay home.  Families are required to pay tuition for those missed days.

School lunch is included in the tuition rate.  School lunch is charged to the student's Infinite Campus Food Service Account.  Accounts will be made current by the district over the summer, prior to the next school year beginning.  Students are allowed to bring their own lunch from home if it is preferred.

Enrollment

The Eleyo Platform is only available for families with children enrolled in our tuition rooms to pay their child's tuition.  Preschool enrollment is a separate process which is not completed through the Eleyo platform.  To inquire about preschool enrollment, please call the office at 636-671-3382 or visit ECC district site page for more information.

Enrolled tuition paying families are required to create a new payment contract for each school year.

Payment

For the 26-27 school year, families must create their new payment contract by 11:59 pm Sunday, August 14th to allow the office time to approve the payment contract. The first week of tuition will be pre-charged when the contract is approved. This will give you a credit for the first invoice.

Families can opt to pay the entire school year tuition balance at once, in larger increments, or on the weekly schedule for $0.39 per transaction.

For additional convenience, there is an auto payment feature available.  Auto payment is highly encouraged.  There is also an option to store payment information if families do not set up auto payments.

Invoices will be sent via email every Wednesday and payment will be due by 11:59 PM every Friday.

The first invoice will be sent at 4 pm Wednesday, August 19th.  The first payment will have already been made when your contract was approved and will be deducted from that credit but going forward will be due by 11:59 PM Friday.  If payment is not received by the due date, a $5.00 late fee will be charged to your next invoice.  If payment is not received by 11:59 PM Sunday, the student is not allowed to attend until payment has been received.  This is how the payment and invoice schedule will operate for the school year.

If a student's tuition account becomes past due and payment is not received by the following week, the student cannot attend until the account has been brought current.  You will continue to be charged the daily tuition rate while your child is out until payment has been received.  If payment is not received by 11:59 PM the following Friday, your child will be dismissed from the program and their spot will be offered to another family.  You will be responsible to pay the outstanding balance.

Tax documents will be generated by Eleyo for tuition payments made throughout the calendar year.  Families will access those statements once they're available in their accounts.

Attendance

Because there is a waitlist for tuition spots, students missing 10 undocumented days will be removed from the program.  This will ensure our spaces are being utilized to their fullest.

If a student is absent due to illness, planned vacations, or any other absence separate from a scheduled district day off, tuition payments will not be prorated.  This includes if the school directs the child to stay home.  Families are required to pay tuition for those missed days.

Potty Training

Children attending Title One, Tuition and ADA classrooms are REQUIRED to be potty trained. Frequent accidents can impact your child’s and their peers’ learning and routine. Please send in a change of clothes for the occasional accident. Children in these classrooms are not allowed to wear diapers or pull-ups to school. In addition to two scheduled restroom breaks per half day, students should be able to independently request to use the restroom. A potty trained child is a child who can do the following:

1. Communicate to the teachers that he/she needs to go to the restroom beforehand.

2. Alert him/herself to stop what he/she is doing and to go use the restroom.

3. Pull down his/her clothes and get them back up without assistance.

4. Wipe him/herself after using the toilet.

5. Get on/off the toilet by him/herself.

6. Wash and dry hands.

7. Postpone going if they must wait for someone who is in the restroom or if we are away from the classroom.

8. Awaken during nap time if they need to use the restroom.

A child will not be considered potty trained for our preschool program if the child continues to consistently have toileting accidents after the first 4 weeks of school (or school entry). After the week 4 if school (or school entry), the following policies will be in place for children who have accidents:

1. If one or two accidents occur in one week, the parent will be notified with the

understanding that the issue needs to be addressed and corrected. The director will also

be made aware of the situation and available to meet with parents as needed.

1a. If one or two accidents occur during a future week, the above process will be

implemented again.

1b. In the event one or two accidents occur for a third time, parents will be called to pick

up the child. Additionally, the child will be required to stay at home for one week or until

completely toilet trained.

1c. Continued accidents upon return to school will result in dismissal from the program.

2. If three accidents occur in one week, a parent/guardian will be called to pick the child up from school. The child will be required to stay home from school for an additional week or longer until the child is completely toilet trained. The director will be made aware of the situation and will be available to meet with parents as needed.

2a. If a child has been through the above scenario, returns to school and has three

accidents for a second time at a future date, we will repeat the outlined process again.

2b. In the event a child reverts back to having toileting accidents a third time at a future date, it will result in removal from the program.

3. Children enrolled in our Tuition Program will be required to pay tuition fees during leaves of absence.

We understand that even toilet-trained children occasionally have accidents. By definition, “accidents” are rare incidents that happen infrequently. In these cases, staff members will help preschoolers with their clothing as needed and encourage independence as much as possible.

Please note this policy is not in place to shame or punish a child or to inconvenience primary caregivers. Rather, cleaning accidents in the classroom are time-consuming, time that we would prefer to spend interacting with and educating students. Most importantly, this policy is intended to ensure the health, safety and well-being of both students and staff.
